Declan moved to Portland in 2019, initially pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. During this time, he fell in love with the field of dentistry for feline and canine patients, and in 2025 started making the transition to human dentistry! He is currently attending school to become a dental hygienist and is loving his first experience in the field here at Mint Dental Works under the dental and Cajun-cooking tutelage of Dr. McMillan. Outside of work, Declan is an introvert with extroverted tendencies. While happiest cooking at home with his pets and loved ones, he can also be found cycling, rock climbing, playing board games, or at one of Portland’s many punk and metal shows
