Warm, relaxed and beautiful
My first visit to Mint Dental Works today was extremely positive, friendly and unlike previous dental visits at other practices. Dr. Jason McMillan and his team were welcoming, professional, down to earth, thoughtful and engaging. From registration to x-rays and the examination, I felt comfortable – a first for me – and my normal fears dissipated. This was due to the high level of customer service and care taken by everyone who greeted me. Plus the surroundings are warm, relaxed and beautiful. The Best Dental Experience Ever
If you're afraid of the dentist or just plain don't like going – go to Mint. They are all so friendly, professional, helpful, and go out of their way to be of service to you. From massage chairs to neck pillows to being able to watch your favorite show on Netflix while getting a cavity filled – they provide it all. Thanks, Mint, for ending my ten year long fear of dentists and making my teeth look and feel better than they ever have. Going to the dentist has never been so enjoyable. I am VERY THANKFUL and BLESSED to have had the opportunity to get much needed dental work done here @mintdentalworks in Portland.
The entire staff is AMAZING. I have never been to a dental office where from start to finish, I have felt welcomed and at peace through the entire process.
The front office staff are welcoming and very friendly. The dental assistants, hygienists, and Doctors are the best I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by.
THANK YOU VERY-VERY MUCH for taking care of me and making this trip to Portland and my vacation, one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Great service and great care!
I have been going to Mint for years now and have nothing but great things to say! I never feel like I am being taken advantage of (a problem that was recurring in my dental past), everything is thoroughly explained, and everyone is very patient. Hilde and Scarlett are just the best, always kind, fun to joke around with, and very aware that being at the dentist is not a favorite place for most people. Dr. McMillan is also great and I always feel like he is doing the best for me, not the best for his wallet. Prices are very reasonable and even if something seems like it's a little extra, I don't mind paying that at all for the care I receive. I can't recommend Mint enough! One could say the whole experience was a gas.
In my most recent visit to Mint, I came in to have three wisdom teeth extracted. After a highly traumatic experience with an extraction a few years ago at a clinic I'll not name here, I was a little concerned about feeling the procedure despite local anesthetics. I've been coming to MDW ever since and can fully put my trust in having a comfortable and humane experience. They gladly put me on gas, and I got to watch a Louis c.k. Stand up special on Netflix, which killed most of the time it took to extract all three teeth. I was laughing so hard and maniacally throughout the experience, I even brought my dental assistant to tears along with me. One could say the whole experience was a gas.

My favorite dentist I’ve ever been to!
I've never liked a dentist practice enough to say much about it before. That was until I started coming to Mint Dental. I really can't express how great they are. The staff is awesome, the place is clean and nice and did I mention they have vibrating chairs and warm neck pillows? They make going to the dentist not so bad. I highly recommend! Very friendly staff, immaculately clean office, state of the art equipment, eco-friendly environment, able to handle mercury removal, easy to schedule, never a long wait time, and... Netflix to keep you entertained while they do their thing – because you can never watch the same Star Trek movies over and over quite enough. I have had some negative experiences at past dental offices. I was impressed with their friendly staff; clean, modern building, and efforts to understand my past dental experiences and discussion around ways to improve my experience at their office. I would recommend this office to others who have had fear of the dentist. I enjoyed being seen in a clean, healthy building as well.

Dr McMillan and the staff at Mint is simply the best
Dr McMillan and the staff at Mint is simply the best, and I'm picky! I consistently receive expert dental care from routine cleanings to more complex treatments like Invisalign.
Dr McMillan expertly fixed my crowded teeth with Invisalign and I am so happy to see I have my smile back after so many years. He was attentive and understanding when I had concerns and I always felt heard throughout the process. I cannot recommend Mint Dental enough. Shout out to all the staff, particularly Dental Assistant Nicole, who was amazing throughout my Invisalign process, and Patient Coordinator Greyson who is always professional and great at follow-up/ timely communication.

I wanted to tell you about my experience with Mint Dental. Setting up my appointment was very easy, and I liked the many reminders I received before my visit. The whole staff was skilled and gave me great service, which made me feel at ease while I was there. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could even purchase an electric toothbrush during my last appointment. Mint is Fresh
To be honest, my wife convinced me to come to Mint. I thought it looked a little fancy for my taste at first, but now I admit that I am sold. I've been there for basic cleaning, some cavity filling, nothing too crazy, happily. Everyone in the organization is very friendly, professional, proactive, and thorough. I recognize the same faces every time. I can tell it’s a pretty well managed practice. Prices seem fair, 5% discount to pay cash or check. The Dentists are professional, and still genuine and relatable. Everything is clean and updated, including the chair side manner. For basic cleaning, you get the option of a hot neck pillow, and/or massaging chair. Why wouldn't I? For anything more in depth than cleaning, lay back and watch Netflix on the ceiling. Going to the Dentist is still probably not going to be your favorite thing to do, but I've never been to a better Dentist than Mint, and don't plan on going anywhere else anytime soon. Clean Teeth!
It feels so good to leave the dentist with clean teeth. Also, they have nice gear (computerized x-ray cameras are great), hygienists seem experienced, and are generally skilled, fast, gentle, and focused. My daughter (age 6) actually gets excited when she has an appointment coming up – I don't know if it's the TV, the sweet attention she gets from the staff, or the trinkets they let her pick out at the end. Who am I kidding, it's probably all of the above. The team is really friendly, and they seem to have a solid, effective workflow going. I generally leave Mint feeling like I got really focused attention. The doctors seem really experienced, and genuinely happy to help. I'm happy to learn they are onboarding a woman dentist now, too.
